Based in Hong Kong for more than half of a century, the Shun Hing Group has gone above and beyond its expected role as a good corporate citizen, by actively participating in various charitable events. We are ardent supporters of community campaigns and we actively encourage our staff to devote themselves to the same, so they can help improve the lives of the less fortunate, while consolidating our relationship with the community in the process.

True to the spirit of give and take, Shun Hing Education and Charity Fund (SHECF) was founded in 1984 to support various kinds of charities. To date, it has donated more than HK$500 million towards respective charitable projects.

The primary objective of SHECF is to promote education and to contribute to the Mainland through teaching and research. For the past decades, it has contributed significantly to the development of education in the Mainland, Hong Kong and overseas. Apart from setting up scholarships in various tertiary institutions in Hong Kong, SHECF has bestowed grants to upgrade campus facilities, such as academic buildings, research institutes, activity centres and libraries, of major universities in the Mainland, Hong Kong and overseas.

In addition to supporting the advancement of academic and scientific research, SHECF has also established research and endowment funds, as well as academic chairs in various tertiary institutions to drive excellence in teaching and research. The Fund also actively supports the building of kindergartens, primary and secondary schools. Contributions were made to school redevelopment and improvement projects carried out at La Salle Primary School and CCC Mong Man Wai College for that purpose.
