Shun Hing Group has long been active in sports sponsorship. Since 1985, we have sponsored the "Panasonic Cup". This event not only offers corporate entertainment in a relaxed atmosphere but also is a charitable activity in its own right since the proceeds collected are donated to charitable organisations through the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust.

To further foster sporting spirit in Hong Kong, we also sponsored the Eastern Athletic Association Football Club for the 2007 and 2008 seasons under the Panasonic banner. For the 2009/10 season, Panasonic has come into an agreement with South China Football Team to become their principal sponsor. Members of our staff took part in the "Homeless World Cup", an event organised to encourage community concern for and assistance to the homeless.

Apart from the above mentioned, other prominent events the we have contributed to over the years included several international tennis matches, the Inter-Company Charity Race of Hong Kong, Dragon Boat Festival International Races organised by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (formerly Hong Kong Tourist Association), the Community Chest 10km Run and Million Walk, Hong Kong-Shenzhen Western Corridor Walk for Millions and the Inter-school Basketball Tournament.
