Dr. William Mong said, "Firmly rooted in Hong Kong, I can proudly say Shun Hing is one of the territory's successful enterprises. One must agree that it was we who introduced the radio, rice cooker, washing machine, microwave oven and television to the people of Hong Kong, thereby altering the way they live, bringing entertainment into their household, and also improving their quality of life. Panasonic's distinct image is deeply ingrained in the minds of local citizens."
"On this auspicious night of celebration," The Chairman continued, "I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the Hong Kong people, and also Panasonic Corporation, Victor Company of Japan, Limited (JVC), and other product suppliers for their warm and unfailing support of Shun Hing throughout these years. Thanks also go to the many front line sales agents who have been working hand in glove with us for such a long time, and the dedication of all our staff also deserves a special note of gratitude."
