Dreams have brought together a group of secondary school students, elderly and disabled people, realizing 60 creative and caring social projects. Switch on 60 Dreams was launched in March last year. After a year of hard work, each selected project has completed successfully. The participating teams have reunited again today (19 July) to attend the Switch on 60 Dreams Closing Ceremony organized by the Shun Hing Group, sharing the process of dream realization. They have also joined hands with the elderly and the disabled in performance, commemorating the precious moment of dreams coming true.

The Closing Ceremony was held today in Tsang Chan Sik Yue Auditorium, The Baptist University of Hong Kong, marking the official end of the campaign. Attending guests included Ms. Wendy Chau, Chief Social Work Officer, Social Welfare Department; Mr. Cliff Choi, Business Director of Partnership & Public Engagement, The Hong Kong Council of Social Service; famous artists Ms Law Lan and Ms Louisa So; Mr. David Mong, Vice Chairman of Shun Hing Group and Ms. Cynthia Mong, Director of Shun Hing Electronic Trading Co., Ltd. They shared the process of dream realization together with 60 participating teams, including elderly and disabled people, and enjoyed the fruitful results of dreams coming true.

Mr. David Mong, Vice Chairman of Shun Hing Group expressed his appreciation towards the courage of all the teams, transforming the seemingly impossible thoughts into reality. He claimed that even though the campaign has ended, the hearts to help others will never end. 'I hope that everyone can treat today as a new start and continue 'switching on' the dreams of different people. We can together create a more loving society with our little power' said Mr. Mong. Helping others is the origin of happiness, everyone should set an example personally by helping others.

In the ceremony, a video made by the Skyhigh Creative Partners was played showing highlights of different projects. It has recorded the precious moment of dream realization and project execution of the 60 teams, demonstrating the idea of social integration of the young, the elderly and the disabled. Some of the participating teams even joined hands with the elderly and the disabled in live performance and sharing regarding their feelings throughout the dream realization process, creating a harmonious atmosphere for the day. The whole ceremony ends with laughter, marking the official end of the 'Switch on 60 Dreams' campaign.
