2013 Panasonic Cup Race Day with pineapple bun tasting
The Panasonic Cup Race Day was successfully held on 9 November 2013 at the Sha Tin Racecourse. Vice Chairman of Shun Hing Group, Mr. & Mrs. David Mong; Director of Shun Hing Electronic Trading Co., Ltd., Ms. Cynthia Mong; and Vice Chairman of Shun Hing Education and Charity Fund, Ms. Cheung Man-yee hosted about 400 guests at the Jockey Club Box.
It was the 30th consecutive year for Shun Hing Group in sponsoring the Panasonic Cup Race Day. The Panasonic Cup was Race 8 of the day with a distance of 1,400 metres and the stake money amounting to HK$2 millions. The Cup was won by "Flagship Shine" under the crop of Mr. J Moreira after a very close and exciting race. Mr. Kazuhiro Tsuga, President of Panasonic Corporation, Ms. Cynthia Mong and Mr. David Mong presented the trophies to the winning horse owner, the trainer and the jockey respectively.
Shun Hing Group has organized a series of entertaining programs for its guests. Ms. Kit Mak, a renowned cookery instructor and recipe editor, was invited to demonstrate the techniques of baking pineapple bun with the new Panasonic bread maker. Ms. Law Lan came onto the stage for introducing the state-of-the-art Steam Induction Heating Warm Jar which is able to ensure each grain of rice to be well-heated and be more fluffy and delicious. The prize presentation ceremony of "Happy 60!" Lucky Draw was also held at the occasion. Mr. David Mong and Mr. Kazuhiro Tsuga presented the Ninki Denki Cash Coupon amounting to HK$128,000 to the Grand Prize winner.
