The Panasonic Cup Race Day was successfully held on 15 November 2014 at the Sha Tin Racecourse. Vice Chairman of Shun Hing Group, Mr & Mrs David Mong; Director of Shun Hing Electronic Trading Co., Ltd., Ms Cynthia Mong; and Vice Chairman of Shun Hing Education and Charity Fund, Ms Cheung Man-yee hosted about 400 guests at the Jockey Club Box.

It was the 31st consecutive year for Shun Hing Group in sponsoring the Panasonic Cup Race Day. The Panasonic Cup was Race 8 of the day with a distance of 1,400 meters and the stake money amounting to HK$2.2 millions. The Cup was won by "Beauty Flame" under the crop of Mr Matthew Chadwick. Mr Keiji Fujimoto, Executive Director of Panasonic Corporation, Mr David Mong and Ms Cynthia Mong presented the trophies to the winning horse owner, the trainer and the jockey respectively.

Shun Hing Group introduced the new business at the event - Green Plant Container. Panasonic Plant Factory has merged agricultural technology with production engineering for producing stable vegetables in a closed type factory that operates in an almost aseptic condition, through computer programs to achieve agricultural automation. It is a closed growing hydroponic system that integrates state-of-the-art technologies, an auto-fertilizing and purifying system; LED lighting with an output wavelength optimized for vegetable growth. As the production is enclosed and pesticide-free, all guests could taste fresh and ready-to-eat vegetables.

During this years' event, new 4K LED iDTVs and cameras were displayed at the Member's Enclosure to let the audiences enjoy the very first touch of high resolutions products. The event was highlighted by an exclusive offer and privilege for the Hong Kong Jockey Club members on buying audio visual, home appliances, health and beauty care products at very special prices.
