To celebrate 70th Anniversary of Shun Hing Group, the “Shun Hing Group 70th Anniversary Cocktail Reception” has been held on 10th November 2023 at the Grand Ballroom, Level 2, Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong. We invited Mr. Chan Kwok Ki, Eric, Chief Secretary for Administration, HKSAR; Mr. Kenichi Okada, Consul General of Japan in Hong Kong and Mr. Yuki Kusumi, Group CEO of Panasonic Holdings Corporation, accompanied by Dr. David Mong, Chairman & CEO of Shun Hing Group and Ms. Cynthia Mong, Executive Director of Shun Hing Electronic Trading Co., Ltd., to officiate the ceremony.

The "Shun Hing Group 70th Anniversary Cocktail Reception" has invited over 700 guests from various sectors including government officials, business leaders, and academia. The distinguished guests in attendance include Mr. Chris Sun, Secretary for Labour and Welfare; Dr. Bernard Chan, Under Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development; Mr. Pang Yiu Hung, Director of Electrical & Mechanical Services; Mr. Vincent Fung, Deputy Commissioner for Labour (Occupational Safety and Health); Mr. Adrian David Li, Co-CEO of Bank of East Asia; Mr. Michael Lee, Chairman of the Hong Kong Jockey Club; Mr Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges, CEO of the Hong Kong Jockey Club; Dr Tsui Lap Chee, Founding President of the Hong Kong Academy of Sciences; and Mr. Timothy Fok, President of the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China. Other attendees include business partners, contractors, media representatives, as well as members of the Board of Directors of Shun Hing Group and senior management of the Group's companies, joining together to celebrate the Shun Hing Group's Platinum Jubilee.

Dr. David Mong, Chairman & CEO of Shun Hing Group expressed gratitude and appreciation in his welcoming speech, "70 years ago, Shun Hing Hong (信興行) was founded by my late father, Dr. William Mong Man-wai, and has evolved into the Shun Hing Group (信興集團) we have today. Mr. Chan Kwok Ki, Eric, GBS, IDSM, JP, Chief Secretary for Administration, HKSAR and Mr. Yuki Kusumi, Group CEO of Panasonic Holdings Corporation, also delivered speeches congratulating the Shun Hing Group 70^th Anniversary. Following the speeches, the officiating guests conducted the inauguration ceremony and joined the management team of the Shun Hing Group in a toast, wishing for the continued success of the group's business and the provision of a better life for the people of Hong Kong.

Shun Hing Group invited the renowned singer-songwriter Mr. Jonathan Wong to perform the theme song of the Shun Hing Group's 70th Anniversary, "Believe", with a lively rhythm and uplifting melody, the song embodies the belief of the Shun Hing Group in "Prosperity through Trust (有信則興)" and "Inherited Trust, Thriving Together (承信興家)" The reception venue featured various photo zones for guests to capture memorable moments. On-site photo sticker production and displays of both old and modern home furnishings and household appliances represented the growth of the Shun Hing Group alongside Hong Kong.

Founded in 1953 by Dr. Mong Man-wai, the Shun Hing Group (formerly known as "Shun Hing Hong") was appointed as the sole distributor for Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. (now known as Panasonic Corporation) products in Hong Kong & Macau. The Group has been promoting and popularizing a wide range of household electrical appliances, bringing greater convenience to the public's daily lives. Over the past 70 years, the Shun Hing Group has expanded in scale and diversified its business, providing customers with high-quality products and services in various fields. Through the Shun Hing Education and Charity Fund, the Group has given back to society, becoming a well-known name among the people of Hong Kong.

To celebrate its 70th Anniversary, the Shun Hing Group has prepared a series of advertisements. These advertisements have been displayed on MTR trains (Tsuen Wan Line), trams, the large LED billboard near the Star Ferry Terminal in Tsim Sha Tsui; Causeway Bay Plaza; Arrival Hall (restricted area) of Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 1, and various locations in Macau. The public is welcome to visit these locations, take photos, and share the joy of the Shun Hing Group's 70th Anniversary.
