The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Presented the Degree of Doctor of Business Administration, honoris causa to Mr David Mong
The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) presented the Honorary Doctoral Degrees to five distinguished persons in recognition of their outstanding achievements in their fields and remarkable contributions to society on 21 October 2017. They are Mr David Mong (Doctor of Business Administration, honoris causa), Mr Charles Chen Yidan (Doctor of Humanities, honoris causa), Mrs Katherine Ngan Ng Yu Ying (Doctor of Business Administration, honoris causa), Prof. Dan Shechtman (Doctor of Science, honoris causa) and Prof. Xu Guanhua (Doctor of Science, honoris causa).
Hong Kong is facing a highly volatile economy and a challenging business environment. 'We will act flexibly as we move forward by upholding the motto of "Trust and Integrity" and the spirit of innovation; we will continue to adhere to the spirit of "give and take", to fulfill our corporate social responsibility, contributing to the community on various fronts while developing our business,' said Mr Mong.
Mr Mong expressed his sincere gratitude to PolyU for conferring the Honorary Doctorate on him and he gave a special note of thanks to Panasonic Corporation and all partners of Shun Hing Group as their great support has been the driving force behind the success.
